no more babies

Yesterday I painted Alice's nails for the first time. Believe it or not, she will be 2 years old in just a couple of weeks. So much has already happened in this little life. She's learned to walk and talk, and can recognize and say letters, colors and numbers; been to the hospital one more time than she should have had to be; traveled across state lines; been swimming and snow sledding and most importantly, gotten all of us to fall in love with her.

She's a strong spirit and knows what she wants and when she wants it. I like that about her.

As I think about her getting older and being my last baby, I thought it would be a good idea to jot down some of her favorite things. Something to look back on and remember fondly many years from now.

fav show: Hi-5
fav food: bananas
fav drink: milk
fav item: her pacie
fav thing to do: be held by mom
fav animal sound: meow or moo
fav clothing item: Hannah's or Mom's shoes

Two years old, hard to believe it was that long ago when I was planning a trip down there for her birth. She is a beautiful little girls with a mind of her own, with alot of love to share. Every time I think of her I get a smile on my face. Each day must bring new joys to her family and new surprises.

The little baby girl isn't a baby any more!!! Being we see her so seldom, we forget about her talking, her likes and dislikes, her personality, etc. I'm anxious to visit with your parents, Lisa, and hear about their visit to your house. I'm anxious to hear about everyone. It is hard to believe that Alice is soon "2", oh how fast they grow up!!! Cute picture of her in the snow.
