making nice

I think Alice is trying to make nice with me. After (literally) pooping all over our trip to the park on Saturday she has been cooing and smiling and sleeping well at night.

Here's a peak at her feet in her brand new stroller, which she promptly leaked poop onto the first time she rode in it.

As for sleeping, she slept until 4:30 am Monday morning and until 5:30 am this morning. Let's hope it is the sign of a new and wonderful trend.

She's also awake during the day a lot more - cooing and talking and smiling. She is a good baby.

Olivia and Hannah had an exciting and busy week last week. They had swimming lessons on Tuesday and then their last lesson of the season on Thursday.

They both got positive remarks from their teacher and Olivia was really swimming for the first time! She swam about 6 feet with her face in the water without help. I was really proud of her.

Hannah really liked their teacher. They had a sub one week and she didn't like him as well. When I asked her why she said, "I don't think he can swim very well." Olivia piped in with, "Well, Hannah, I think he tries his hardest." haha

Thanks for the pictures and all the cute comments about Hannah and Olivia at swimming lessons. I know Olivia was really proud that she dunked her head, and now if she is swimming, that is great! I'm sure Hannah is doing great too, after all she is 2 years younger and in the same class. Oh, little Alice just wanted some more attention when she pooped in the new stroller, ha ha. I hope she keeps up her new sleeping habits, that would also be great!! I think she is practicing "showing off", so when us Grandma's come, we can brag to her and tell her how good she is doing.

Glad to hear that Alice is doing so well with the sleeping, hope she keeps it up. Will be interesting to hear all the news Olivia and Hannah will have when we get there. Glad to hear Olivia is doing so well swimming, she will enjoy the lake so much more this summer.
