Nurse to Lisa after she is slightly settled at the hospital, but having very strong and frequent contractions: "So what were you thinking in the way of pain medication?"
Lisa: "umm, I was thinking I'd get a lot of it!"

Anesthesiologist to Lisa as he's trying to get the huge needle into her back for the epidural: "Has a doctor ever told you that you have scoliosis?"
