and so it goes

After two long weeks we finally got a plumber to come out and look at our bath tub faucet. After determining that the parts we waited over a week for weren't going to fix it, we had him cap off the water supply and call it a day. It's a pain and I'm sure that it will sit this way for months, but at least we can use water throughout the rest of the house to our heart's desire as supposed to turning it on in spurts once or twice a day. And to be able to take a hot shower for longer than 2 minutes was almost worth the over time price we paid for him to come out on a Sunday.

Saturday was a good day. We took Alice to her first parade and all of the girls to their first rodeo. The older girls really enjoyed it, but it was a late night for Alice and she had an impossible time sitting still.

The days will continue to be busy. Next weekend we are going to St. Louis for the weekend to go to the zoo. The weekend after that is the Fourth of July and then the next week Kelly travels for work and then it's time to head North for vacation. So as you can see, before we know it, it will be the end of July. Time flies.

Sorry for all the trouble you've had with the tub/water. It may not be fixed but like you said, it's good to be able to have the water on else where.(it's always something isn't it) Sounds like the rodeo was fun, Kelly told us about the clowns, dogs, monkeys, etc. It's nice you take in some of the festivities around there. We're waiting for everyone to come home in July!!!!!

Glad to hear you can use water throughout the house, I must say I really enjoyed a long shower when I got home from there last week. Sounds like you are having fun weekends with the girls, doing things they will remember is great. Looking forward to seeing you all in July.
