Olivia's party was a success! We invited Erika from Olivia's pre-school and her dad; Eva with her mom and dad; Lauren with her mom and dad; and of course Grady and his dad. Olivia's going to miss him next year when she goes off to kindergarten. So if you add in Olivia and Hannah that made 6 little kids on a sugar high running around the yard. They did really well though. I was proud that Olivia didn't exclude anyone and everyone played together.
We had a pirate themed party - hence the pirate ship cake. It was hard to create the cake and cross my fingers at the same time, so I just held my breath while I built it. :) Olivia really liked it and I'd admit that it was pretty tasty as well.
We had a treasure hunt in the yard that went entirely too fast and then had some "hot dog boats" and worm infested Jell-0 for supper. The kids enjoyed playing tag and "monster" with Kelly and Erika's dad.
I'll post more pictures of the cake and the party on the Flickr account.
Wow! I can't believe she's FIVE!!
